Rise and Shine: Embrace the Early Morning

Let me tell you—starting the day off right makes all the difference when you're working from home. I’ve found that waking up early gives me a quiet moment to breathe before the day gets going. My favorite way to start is with a good breakfast (oatmeal with fruit is my go-to) and a bit of quiet time.

I always try to spend a few moments in prayer and read a devotional. Those early moments with God bring so much clarity and peace—it really grounds me before I dive into emails or to-do lists. And yes, opening my Bible even briefly often gives me the encouragement I didn’t know I needed for the day.

Get Dressed for Success

I'll be honest—it’s tempting to stay in pajamas all day. But I’ve noticed a huge shift in my mood and energy when I take a few minutes to get ready. I don’t go overboard, but putting on a cute outfit and a little makeup helps me feel like I’m showing up for myself.

Even if I’m not leaving the house, treating my day like I would if I were heading to the office sets the tone. I feel more productive, confident, and just... more me.

Healthy Snacking & Lunchtime Reset

Mid-morning, I usually grab a snack—something quick but nourishing like fruit, almonds, or yogurt. It keeps me focused and avoids that crash I sometimes get when I skip it.

Lunchtime is my mini reset. I’ve learned not to eat at my desk anymore (been there, done that, felt burnt out). Now, I try to step away—sometimes I’ll eat outside or read a blog I love. Taking that time just for me helps me come back refreshed, even if the day’s busy.

And don’t forget water! I keep my tumbler nearby and refill it after lunch as a little act of self-care.

Making Remote Work Work for You

These little habits have made such a big difference in my work-from-home life. It’s not always perfect, but having structure—with flexibility—keeps me grounded and productive.

Finding your rhythm might take time, but once you do, it feels so good. Working from home can absolutely be a blessing—you just have to create a routine that supports both your productivity and your peace.

Healthy Eating = Healthy Skin

Eating nutrient-rich foods doesn’t just fuel your body—it transforms your skin from the inside out. A diet packed with antioxidants, leafy greens, and healthy fats helps promote glowing skin, smooth texture, and a youthful radiance, especially for women over 50. Pairing balanced nutrition with the right skincare routine creates a powerful glow-up effect that keeps your complexion looking fresh and chic. Beauty Verse

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

God is the only constant in my life. Day in and day out, my day has to begin with Jesus. What does it matter if we look beautiful on the outside, but are missing the real beauty of life on the inside... JesusChrist. Don't let this day pass you by, without first thanking the Lord for all your blessings. Acknowledge that without Him we are lost, but with Him, we have EVERYTHING! God Bless You All!!
